The Marketing Plan, Chapter 4: The Business Value Proposition

This chapter is very short.  It takes into consideration the prior three chapters and offers a value proposition that answers the question, “Why should they choose us?”

A conversational chapter discussing how we will be approaching the task of implementing the business stategy of Chapel 2.  

Chapter 2 gets in to the meat of the marketing plan by looking at our customers and the customer personas, analyzing our competitors, and how to use the new tools of social media and AI to analyze our competitors use of social media, measure their success, and guide us to perfecting our themes and formats.

The Marketing Plan for 2024 is becoming a long and technical document.  To make it easier to consume, we are making a short, easy to watch video of each chapter as they are finished.  This video on chapter 1 is only 13 minutes long and can be viewed by clicking on the button to the right.

The Board was introduced to the video of everything happening in the cemetery.  It is available at https://vimeo.com/972551767?share=copy.   The first two minutes were played for the Board. Then we discussed the three Neighborhood Teams that will be started to open communications channels between the cemetery and the neighborhoods around us.

A consolidated Cemetery Guide was presented for Board review.  The Guide was composed from the historical Walker Chapel Guide and guides from a Baptist Church, an Episcopal Church, and a Methodist Church.  The content and pricing were approved, but the Board did not care for the tone of voice.  They felt the harshness of the rulings did not accurately represent the kindness and compassion of Walker Chapel.
